  2. I love everything about Maple Memories..the warm atmosphere, the comfy beds, the cutely decorated rooms, the space to spread out..I could go on & on! I NEED these weekends at MM to relax, giggle, wear comfy clothes & get caught up on scrapbooking without the distraction of Mommy Chores! My fave scrapbook buddy has to be Kim..known her for 17 years!

  3. Oh... I want one! We love everything about Maple Memories... it's how we keep in touch with our Wichita scrapping buddies. (part of us are from KC) We have started an annual trip in July now... The one thing I love about your place is the TOWN... McPherson has to be the cutest, best little town in Kansas. After our weekend, we all wanted to move there. One of my scrapping buddies and I were trying to counteract all the snacks by walking at least twice a day... so we saw alot of the town. We even had to be rescued once because a storm was coming in, and we weren't quite sure where we were... we still haven't lived that one down!!

  4. Who doesn't need a weekend AWAY?! Time to just be with friends, talking, having fun and still getting something accomplished! MM is a great get away place - decorated perfectly, room to spread out, all the supplies you need and plenty of space for you & several friends. My best buddy, that I really need to "get-away" with more, is Riki. We've been friends for almost 30 years!! She's always there for me, we can hang out doing & saying nothing, or giggling, working hard, never running out of something to talk about & and having fun & it's always great! Oh yeah, the owner of MM is a WONDERFUL person also! :)

  5. For me, MM is a great place to go and escape reality for a few days! It's a chance for me to get caught up on some of the 1000's of photos I have of my family, that I wouldn't get to otherwise. When I'm at home it seems I never find the time to do things for myself, so this is the perfect "me" time! Love, love, love MM-can't wait to go back SOON!!

  6. I am soooooo looking forward to my "weekend" in July! I don't know what I will do with myself for a WHOLE weekend w/ no kids.. Hopefully get somewhat caught up on my books! But I have spent several Friday nights there scrapping, chatting, eating and just having a great time with friends. MM is such a great place and McPherson is lucky to have it.

  7. I need a weekend away because I could never scrapbook or sew at my own house. Too many distractions. I just keep coming up with other things I need to get done and the scrapbooking and sewing never happens. Plus... at Maple Memories, I have family sharing in the excitment with me. It's no fun to scrapbook and sew alone!

  8. I love, love, love Maple Memories. The house is so inviting and relaxing. I have spent a weekend there with my sister scrapbooking and we both LOVED it. I cannot wait to spend another weekend there this summer with my cousin! An awesome place to go.

  9. I love to visit Maple Memories because it is so welcoming, and you just feel at home there, but you can relax and scrapbook and not look in the next room and think I should be... doing laundry, dishes, paying bills cause you are not at home at all you are with your friends:)

  10. My favorite thing about Maple Memories is the welcoming feeling you receive when you walk through the doors! When I visit for a night, I want to spend the whole weekend. And I'm sure when I stay for my first weekend retreat in July, I'll want to stay the whole week! I love visiting with friends and making new ones. I always leave feeling refreshed and motivated to keep up with my scrapbooking. I look forward to making more memories at Maple Memories!

  11. My favorite thing about Maple Memories is the time spent LAUGHING with my friends! Yeah, I know it's supposed to be about scrapbooking, but really it's about the friends, laughter and the (maple) memories!

  12. My favorite thing was meeting all my now new friends. The house was also laid out perfectly for our needs. It was a super nice quite place ot get away from the day to day activities of being mama and wife. Looking forward to a longer stay next year!

ITh reasone I need a week away is that I am a wife and mother of sweet high engery little twin girls that are 5 going on 15.By the time the retreat rolls around I am more than ready for a little me time!

My favorite person to scrap with is my best friend Sherry. We have been frends for over 23 years. Sad ly she moved to east texas and we don't get to scrap anyore. I was so down not knowing anyone with a passion for paper crafting like Sherry. Then one day the good Lord hooked me up with my other best friend and now favorite scrapper Lois. Even though we have only know each other for a little over a year it feel s like we've know each other a lot longer.Although she has been very busy since we got back when we find time to get togther we have a ball.
